The transfer window is now in full swing and we’re seeing some interesting moves across Europe. It’s always an exciting time when a big talent arrives in the Premier League, and one that everyone will have their eyes on this year is Jadon Sancho.

He’s the second most expensive English player in Premier League history after Harry Maguire, moving from Dortmund with a price tag of £73 million.

On the whole it was a great summer for Sancho as he helped England to the Euro 2020 final, before describing his move to United as a dream come true. We know all about his trickery and dribbling, and he netted 16 goals in all competitions last season, five fewer than his England teammate Rashford who he will be linking up with in Manchester.

In four seasons at Dortmund Sancho made 57 assists so we can expect lots of creative play and more goals for Solskaer’s side.

Another big Premier League signing is Ibrahima Konate, who has also made the trip from Germany to North West England. Konate is a young defender that will bolster Klopp’s options at the back, and it will be interesting if he can claim a regular place in the Liverpool backline.

Another signing that hasn’t been the big headline but is certainly a good move is that of Ashley Young returning to his old club Aston Villa, and the timing could not have been better.

After leaving Villa Young won the Premier League, FA Cup and Europa League with Manchester United before making the trip to Italy to play for giants Inter Milan. And he came back from Milan with a trophy, which is what everyone would dream of doing. He won the league and went back to Villa.

I think it’s great because this was the club where I end up having some great battles with him, because he made sure every game you needed to bring your best in trying to stop him. He was tricky, fast and had great delivery when he went forward. This changed of course when he played the defensive role at Man Utd and Inter.

But this is a great move for Villa, Young will bring so much experience to the team and of course it’s even better if the man that they got for free can still entertain the fans. #mmlove
