Jadon Sancho celebrated his first England goals in a game that saw 8 goals. It will be a game he will never forget but he looks like a player who will go on to score many more goals for his country.

Engand were anything but solid at the back, but the attacking trio of Sterling, Kane and Sancho proved to be too much for Kosovo. We all know what Kane can do and Sterling is for me, by far the best English player at the moment with 8 goals in 7 games for club and country this season. But Sancho took some of the spotlight, looking dangerous with his speed and trickery down the right-wing.

After the game Sterling said that Sancho had been at Sterling’s room the night before begging him to square the ball to him so he could get his first England goal. That’s the sign of a confident young man!

Sterling did just that and Sancho ended the game with a brace, as well as forcing an own goal by the Kosovo defender. That will give him all the confidence he needs to be clinical, and if his confidence keeps growing you know he will become lethal in front of goal.

At 19 years old he already has 15 goals to his name in the Bundesliga. Moving to Germany was a brave move for the teenager as it’s not always easy to move to a new country at that age. But he said he was confident about the move as he had moved from Watford academy to Man City when he was 15. He eventually left Man City because they couldn’t guarantee playing time, and it looks like Dortmund was a good choice.

But the biggest thing was when I spoke to some people at Dortmund, after Pulisic’s deal to join Chelsea, they said that they had a great answer to his departure. Now we all understand why!

Right now it looks like he’s on his way to becoming the next big thing in world football, and he’s certainly on the radar of Europe’s big clubs. #mmlove
