The 2024 Euros are now just three months away, and as we take a break from the domestic leagues we have a chance to see how the nations will be shaping up in the tournament.

England’s first game is at Wembley with Brazil joining, and this will be an important part of their Euro preparations. Copa America is also just around the corner for Brazil, so both teams are hoping to be tested enough to see how they will fair against another quality side, which means we should have a competitive game on our hands.

England are unbeaten since being knocked out of the World Cup, but their form dropped at the end of their Euro Qualification campaign, with a 2-0 win over Malta and a draw with North Macedonia which were both considered underwhelming results for the three lions. Wins against Brazil and Belgium would lift the mood dramatically ahead of the Euros, so even though they are friendlies these are important games for morale and momentum.

Brazil, playing under new coach Dorival Junior for the first time, are on a run of three defeats so are also aiming for a mood shift.

It could be an opportunity to see Bellingham and Foden playing together in their red hot form which will be an exciting proposition for England. We’ll be even more excited to see if the top talent and 18-year-old Kobbie Mainoo gets his debut in the senior team.

Kane is also in fine form but may be rested due to a knock he has had at Bayern. On the other side in yellow Vini Jr will be the main danger man for England to deal with, and is the type of player who can win a game with a moment of brilliance. #mmlove
