Bellingham is having the season of his life so far in Madrid.

At just 20 years old he seems to be on the scoresheet every week in La Liga, and this past weekend it was the biggest match in the league’s calendar, the famous El Classico.

This is a game watched by fans all over the world and always puts some of the world’s best talents head to head in Spain. When you look at the squads of the two teams you can see how much talent there is, which makes it even more impressive that the 20 year old is the standout performer.

Bellingham scored a rocket to even the score and put Madrid level with Barca in the second half, a shot that looked like it would nearly take the net off. The 30-yard shot got him his first goal in his first-ever El Classico, after also scoring on his La Liga and Champions League debuts for Real. 20 minutes later he grabbed another in injury-time by being in the right place at the right time, which is much harder than players like Bellingham make it look. That second goal secured all the points for his side, which he has done time and time again this season.

“He seems like a veteran, the goal to level it totally changed the game,” said Carlo Ancelotti after the game.

Bellingham now has 10 goals in his first 10 La Liga games, which for comparison is double what Cristiano Ronaldo managed in his first 10 games in a Real Madrid shirt.

And this week got even better when he was awarded the Kopa Trophy for the world’s best player aged under 21 at the Ballon d’Or ceremony in Paris.

It seems like it’s Jude’s world and we’re just living in it! I’m excited to see what more he can do this season in Spain and on the big midweek stage in the Champions League. #mmlove
